When I'm traveling,or have alot of errands to do and the kids are with me,I would put on the Wiggles  Hoop-Dee-Doo cd,it  helps to keep them calm so I can get where I want to go and getting things done in peace.This cd has 17 of the Wiggles hit songs,that  your kids would definitely enjoy on their journey,especially if they are a fan of the wiggles.

Cooking for Kids

I know when most people think about children and the thought of cooking, it might sound a bit scary at first, your little one in a kitchen environment around sharp utensil's and a hot stove might not be the sort of thing you might consider for a Saturday Morning Activity. Well I am here to hopefully change your thoughts. For the past couple of Months my Daughter has been attending Kidscookingplace, which is a local cooking school for kids who have a interest in learning how to make "REAL" things to eat, or who just want to enjoy the fun of baking,mixing, and decorating the yummy treats that they enjoy either at home or when going out to eat.The classes are tailored for Kids most of the food items that involved n the cooking process have been prepped and there are never any Knives or sharp objects used by the kids and the instructors do all of the bakings.They learn the hands on process and, what goes into what they are making and the time it takes to finish.The environment is very family friendly and I must say each time she attends she learns many new things.I think my husband loves it just as much as she does because he gets to sample all of the goodies at the end of each class.The Kidscookingplace is Owned and Operated by two friends who both have a extensive back ground in Education, who also both share a passion for the Art of cooking.They are available to host private sessions for groups or Birthday parties.If you are not local to the Los Angeles Area, I wound recommend you do a search for a similar establishment in your area and get them started early who knows you might just have a young cheif in the making!!

Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific

I can't believe how much fun our family had at the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific, we actually started our Tour outside by first visiting the Shark Lagoon, then working our way to the fabulous Lorikeet Forest  here you can see and view some amazing birds, and trust me it will be a experience you  will never forget.

My First Read And Learn Bible

One day my husband and I went to Toy "R"Us looking for books for our kids, and I came a cross this book call my First Read And Learn Bible. I absolutely love this little bible. It's full of bible stories that help my kids to understand, how God heal the blind and how he told Noah to build an ark, for him and his family and get two of every kind of animals on earth. So they can be safe from a really bad storm. Also the story about Moses, how he was put in a basket and was found by a kings daughter.The story about Daniel and the lions, and how Jesus was born and the wise mens who brought him gifts, on the day of his birth.

 

 

Sid the Science Kid tv show is a wonderful way to get your child into the world of science. Sid love's to explore with his friends at school. They would use a magnifying glass...to look around for insects and  things,that they can find and put under their magnifying glass to observes and identify. When they are finish identifying these insects or things,Sid and his friends draw their observation in their journals,where they would get a better understanding about what they saw and how things move, grow and change. Sid lives with his Mom Dad and baby brother and loves to dance and sing. This tv show is on PBS. SHOW TIME is Monday thur Friday at 9am pacific time.

Harold And The Purple Crayon

When your baby is fussy and nothing seems to interest him or her put on Harold and the purple crayon. This show is so soothing and relaxing, it will calm them down and catch their attention. It's about a little boy who draw himself into all kinds of adventure where he would be a help to anyone or anything that he can rescue.

Whenever Harold runs into trouble, he always get his self out safely, because he would draw himself out and go back into his bed, and cuddle up with his stuff animal. This show is on HBFe and is 30 minutes long. you can check your listing for show-time...  

Homework Books(Rhyming)

To all you moms out there who never heard or saw Blue's Clues. It's a very good tv show on Nick Jr, for kids. It's Enhances preschoolers' problem solving and metacongnition. The main characters are base on boy and his blue puppy. They look for different kinds of clues and put them together to guess what the clue is all about, and also to figured out what Blue's want's to do. The music is cache and will let them dance and sing along while they find all the clues. I'll give this tv show a five star...
