Up is an exciting and adventurous movie that is great for kids and parents, it starts off about a boy who meets his true love that shares his sense of adventure and fascination with aviation, but they never would get the chance to turn their dreams into reality due to a tragic out come in the middle of the movie. But this modern day aviator would go to the extremes to make their dreams together or apart come true. A young boy befriends the now elderly aviator, who ends up going with him on a journey across the country. During their adventure they experience many obstacles and challenges but in the end both the elderly aviator and his new friend fill a void that was missing in their lives; this movie is definitely a winner and gets Momsoutlook two thumbs UP!

Well we are now at the halfway point of the summer season, and soon we will be well on our way to getting the kids ready to go back to school. Some of us have done many fun and exciting things during this warm and festive season, but I would like to share with those of you who live in California and those who plan on visiting before the summer ends a little bit of Western excitement right here in Southern Cal.Recently my family and I took a trip to Knott’s Berry Farm where we enjoyed a full day of shows, foods, and rides that are great for both the young and the old. I would advise that you look for coupons specials at your local grocery store or online for great deals and discounts. We were able to get a great price for a family of four. As soon as you enter the park you can feel that summer is in the air, from the smell of funnel cakes to the cool mist of water that travels in the air as we walk past Roaring Rapids water ride. One thing I would highly recommend is that you check the show times for Knott’s Every one loves Snoopy an ice skating show. This is a must see for anyone who visits the theme park between the months of June until August, you will be amazed at the detail and thought that is put into this thrilling show. Camp Snoopy is a must see for kids of all ages, where they can enjoy a carousel, bumper car rides, Moon Bounce, Bird cage, and a host of other attractions that will keep your kids well entertained. We ended our day with a train ride that takes you around a section of the park that will more that excite those who love the old west, I will not give away the details of the ride but let’s just say Knott’s will take you back to relive how the West was won.
Previewing what our children watch is a very important step into understanding what I call the three W’s of the toddler stage. The “WHAT” “WHY” and “WHERE”. This happens when you hear you toddler say certain words that you might not understand how that word came into their vocabulary. If you follow the three W’s you will notice a dramatic increase in your child’s advancement in early learning skills and the potential to advance their selves in our ever changing technological society
